Chaos in the Classroom is the game of hilarious fun just for teachers. Chaos Creator, Regina Hellinger, has been an educator for more than 20 years, so we know firsthand the kind of crazy things that happen in the classroom…
And we celebrate these moments for the chaos that they are to bring fellow teachers together and remind us all why we do the work we do.
From the outrageous to the ordinary, this game captures the educator’s experience in a light that reveals the superheroes you truly are.
You already go through the craziest things as a teacher… why not take advantage of the opportunity to share these stories and connect with your colleagues in a way that you haven’t before?
Chaos in the Classroom is the only social game of its kind, created for educators, by educators! We interviewed dozens of teachers about their experiences in the classroom, and turned their stories into a celebration of what it really means to be a teacher in America. These scenarios are too crazy to be made up!
This game is all about fun, but it becomes so much more as teachers bond with one another and feel seen and appreciated by the way the game captures the essence of who they are and the importance of what they do everyday.
How to play: Players select a card from their hand based on real educational scenarios to create the most interesting response. The judge decides which response is the best, and that person wins that round!

Chaos in the Classroom is a social game of hilarious fun that bonds educators and energizes their spirits.
Overview: Scenarios are read to the group that are missing a key piece of information. Players select a card from their hand based on real educational scenarios to create the most interesting response.
The person with the most interesting response wins!
Here’s how to play Chaos in the Classroom:
The person with the most experience in education becomes the first dealer.
Dealer gives each player 10 white cards and then selects one Green card to read the prompt to the group. Each player chooses one white card that they believe is the best response to the prompt.
If you have a blank card you can write your own response for a round of your choice.
You can modify the verb tense of your response to fit the given prompt.
Dealer selects the best white card and the player that submitted that white card wins the point for the round. The next round begins with a new dealer by rotating once clockwise. The new dealer will deal each player a new white card and read a new green card.
Each player needs to be the dealer at least one time for the game to be complete, but individual games can go for as many rounds as the group desires.
Final Round is a Write In Round. One Orange card is selected and read to the group. Everyone gives their authentic response to the card based on their own experiences or stories they have heard (or made up). The group votes on the best response. The winner of this round gets 3 points.
The player with the most overall points wins!
And if you’re a visual learner, here’s a video on how to play from Chaos Creator herself, Regina Hellinger!
